The world at your feet.

So it all starts today.

I'm glad to see according to Madam & Eve that there is a fair amount of World Cup fever in SA. England is quite simply over-run with World cup ... well everything.

The coolest thing though is that summer has arrived, and seemingly wants to make up for lost time. The weather is superb. Warm, sunny, and light until after 9pm, which means that supper is outside, braais (sorry barbeques) are on the go, all just in time for the World Cup. So there will be lots of beer, lots of smoky meat (SA style... none of this burgers on the braai nonsense), footie on telly, and sitting outside enjoying the ample sunshine... aaah. Not too bad for a soggy Island!!

I like grapes, I couldn't really say I love 'em though... that would be a bit too intimate.

The problem with grapes is that they too quickly become raisins.
oh, and they are really expensive in Kent... they were much cheaper in Cape Town... but then so was the wine.

I wonder if there's a connection?
